Digital stock fixture firmware, left button wiring repair notes, and commissioning results recorded October 15, 2026.

Production sketch for Arduino Nano R4
Two-button control for the stock support, lever support, pin-placement mechanism, and servo. Download the ZIP to keep the sketch in the folder Arduino IDE expects.
Verified: production compilation and upload passed. After the left button wiring repair, both released inputs read HIGH, LEFT changed only D7, RIGHT changed only D8, and both returned to HIGH.
V1 complete: the operator confirmed powered single-button checks and one full actuator cycle passed. Completion recorded .

V1 completion covers these commissioning checks and one operator-observed full cycle. Endurance testing and other fault/recovery conditions were not assessed in this check; the known input behavior below still applies.
What was fixed
The fixture did not respond as expected to a two-button hold, then moved when RIGHT alone was pressed. The input diagnostic showed LEFT reading PRESSED (LOW). The operator repaired the left button wiring; independent button checks then passed, and production firmware was restored.
V1 labels this published digital firmware package and repair record. The original production sketch name is retained. The final source update records the completed powered checks and timestamp in comments; it does not change control behavior.
Button wiring & known behavior
LEFT is D7 and RIGHT is D8. Each uses a normally open switch to GND with INPUT_PULLUP: released = HIGH; pressed = LOW.
A stuck LOW input can allow the other button to start the cycle alone. The current restart latch clears when either button is released; it does not require both buttons to be freshly pressed together. If one button alone causes movement, isolate actuator power and air and inspect the wiring.

Open & upload
Isolate actuator power and air, leaving Arduino USB connected.
Extract the ZIP and open the .ino inside its matching Digital_Universal_5v_2button_PRODUCTION_9-15-26 folder.
Select Arduino Nano R4 and its connected USB port. The verified installation used Arduino Renesas UNO Boards core 1.6.0 and the Servo library.
Verify and upload. Set Serial Monitor to 9600 baud. The servo is commanded home on startup.
After installation or wiring changes, repeat the checks with the fixture clear: neither button alone may cause movement; both held together should complete one cycle.
Cycle timing: hold both inputs LOW for 1 s → D11 ON → wait 300 ms → D12 ON and servo to 140° → settle 500 ms → D10 ON for 500 ms → outputs OFF → wait 600 ms → servo home. Releasing either button before placement aborts; a release during servo movement is handled after the sweep. Once placement starts, placement and reset finish automatically.
CSV logging: timestamps are milliseconds since controller startup. A release row prints on that button’s next press; its duration is the released interval, not the time held. Servo position and insertion completion are not sensor verified.
Manual assembly
Manual bottom-stock devices
These manual assembly jigs are purpose-built for bottom-stock assembly operations. Both stations use mechanical fixturing and operator-assisted processes — no CNC or digital control. Only jigs in this category are used for bottom-stock work.
Manual Jig A — bottom stock
Manual
Primary manual assembly jig for CCS bottom-stock production. Handles stock blank fixturing, inletting guide alignment, and buttpad drilling template. Operator feeds pre-cut stock blanks and completes all operations with hand tools guided by the jig.

Digital precision
Digital devices
CNC and digital measurement stations used for precision work on CCS stock components. These devices are not used for bottom-stock assembly — they handle upper-stock profiling, serialized engraving, and QC verification.
Digital Station A
Digital
CNC profiling station for upper-stock contouring and cheek-riser cutouts. 3-axis CNC with vacuum fixturing and tool-length probe. Runs from DXF toolpath files generated from CCS stock CAD models.
